These easy-to-go and take-out dinners are life-changing. Because, it literally takes 7 minutes to prepare dinner and the rest is done by our slow cooker Crock Pot.

HOW to DO SALSA VERDE CHICKEN IN The CROCK POT

 Chicken salsa - not verde - is probably the first dish I made in a slow cooker. It really couldn't have been easier; I poured a jar of salsa into the slow cooker, arranged extra chicken, and four hours later, the din din was served.

AND I seemed to know completely what I was doing in a room with knives and food-type ingredients.

After this successful recipe, I moved on to bigger things, like throwing salsa on beef and peppers inside the slow cooker and calling it Beef Fajitas! Still living on the edge.

I also make this green chicken and it's a favorite for Sunday dinners, parties and game days.

First of all, you want to add chicken breasts to your slow cooker's insert.

Then add onions, plus a box of diced roasted tomatoes on top, followed by a few cups of salsa verde, cumin, chili powder and garlic.

Set to cook for 4 hours at HAUT or 6 hours at BAS.
Once finished, remove the chicken from the slow cooker, shred it, then stir it in the sauce and serve.

So now we're salsa verde-ing our chicken, getting all that amazing maze flavor that you would in the traditional way, but much easier and perhaps even tastier. ME LIKEY.

HOW TO STORE GRATED CHICKEN

 Keep the grated chicken completely cooled in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.
To freeze, store grated chicken in ziploc bags or airtight containers and store in freezer for 3 to 4 months.
